My family revitalizes abandoned homes, maintains them, and rents them fairly. I'm very proud of our work.

We also play games of all descriptions, especially on a table.

I like math and science most, but am interested in everything.

He/Him/His
So... you only get to be poor if you were born there? It's also stupid from every direction.

This happened to me once in Dragon Age 2 when my XBox360 was overheating.

Dang, I can't find the picture I took of it.

We should make some laws against this concentration of monopoly power. I hear you and, Sure, Man, you want to Trust business, but come on, we need to Act!

We're all kinda heartbroken. I don't even know what exactly was in it yet, just that we can't ever get it back.

They do remember the last guy who said this kind of stuff over there, yeah?

"We didn't do it."

"We did it, but it was legal."

"It wasn't legal, but it was justified."

"It wasn't justified, but it's not a big deal."

"It is a big deal, but everyone does it so you can't get mad at us."

"No one does it, but it's still no big deal."

<a new scandal>

We're on step 2.

In 2178 Pluto will have (finally) completed one full orbit since being discovered in 1930.

What were they arguing about the orbit of Pluto that they were so wrong about?

I found the credit! "A fantastic tunnel book, Das Rheinthal/The Valley of the Rheine from Bingen to [Lurley]. Made in 1850 (approximately). Also known as a peepshow, featuring 9 sheets of gorgeously hand-colored engravings. Captured by @davidminkin (Facebook)"

It's a good thought, and the thing I never thought about was how super duper important it is for GM-less and solo games. (Which is a big duh on my part.) How do you even build that? Heck, how do you operate it?
I was having a similar thought the other day about basically turning (or recognizing it's already true that) every plot-line/element into an evolving, recursive finite state machine.

Minus dog drool and cat fur, this is now everyone's favorite spot in the house. Actually... I guess that makes the point even stronger.
December 3, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Oh! Can I play too?
(I screen-capped this in September for what I can only assume was a similar reason.)
