Absolutely agree. All of the MCIS singles were extraordinary and The Aeroplane Flies High could have been even more of a monster if handled differently.

Using these charts as metrics, interesting to see that the Smashing Pumpkins, definitely grunge or absolutely not, were relatively popular. The fact that 1979 was the highest proves the whole point though I suppose.
