I'm not a person prone to believe in...well anything. I wear my atheist badge loud and proud and am perpetually questioning what I've known or thought and how its been influenced by myriad fluctuating variables (e.g. time of day, hungriness, horniness, the length of time since I'd last conversed with a human, the color of my socks, the knit of my sweater, what I'm reading etc).

Where does this lead? The TL;DR of it all? I want my family to interact with people not algorithms. I want to diminish the power of these monopolies, even if by mere thousandths of a cent. I want a sane society. To this end, I've broken a lot of the conveniences we've been afforded over the years, introducing a bit of intentional friction to these processes and opted to pay for services I've gotten for free my whole life.

So, I've established I don't care for the present circumstance, the inequalities, the monopolies, the cruelty of the gears grinding through so much flesh and so many lives just so the few can profit. And I've gone so far as to write down a list of how to disengage, of how to reassert control. Lets start digging into that list.

I've already written about this, screaming my little song, my tweets and twits lost in the din of the forest. However, work has been done and for those...two people that might be interested, I figured I'd check in.
