Maybe force-feeding the ball to a whining WR is not the best recipe for winning?

The seditious-6 know that:

A) If Republicans lose power, SCOTUS will likely be reformed, and

B) even if SCOTUS judges never face repercussions for their crimes, their individual power will be whittled down

…and that matters much more to the seditious-6 than US Democracy or the Constitution
This SCOTUS is an indelible stain on every state and federal judge who takes their oath to uphold the constitution seriously.

A few years ago, Bill Nye the science guy debated creationist Ken Ham about evolution. The last question was "what would change your mind?"

Bill Nye said "Evidence."

Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."

I think about that a lot.

I have MS… fighting off depression every day bc

1) legs don’t work anymore
2) MS has given me “googly eyes” (ie spontaneous spasms of ocular muscles) - driving’s an adventure
3) It’s impacted my speech, so I sound like a drunken sailor (on good days)
4) My brain goes “foggy” for weeks at a time

Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

$$

They get paid to prioritize certain shows on UI interface - it’s like the cereal aisle at the grocery store, where some are at eye level with others relegated to bottom shelf.

It’s also why Internet searches are worse… slower search = more time on site = more ad revenue for site

It’s always $$
is there a reason why every single paid streaming service UI has only gotten incredibly worse and less usable over time

Am I the only one who eye-rolled through the line “abilities that AI systems can perform”…?

We’ve now seen 2 yrs of what AI “can” perform, and we’ve learned:

AI performance sucks

It’s riddled w/ mistakes and fixing it wastes massive amount of time… for consumers.

It is cheaper for corps, tho

…but an entire pol party decided to devote the past decade to eroding those checks & balances, so now we’re left to the whims of a compromised, senile, emperor-has-no-skin, piggy of a President who calls all the shots
