Yes, it is a well set up situational comedy - the building of the punch lines, amping up the awkwardness reminds me of what I loved about comedies like Frazier that I enjoyed back in the day.

Agree. Not only for the characters, but for the nation as a whole, to emerge from the IMF crisis, not only to persevere, but forward strongly with the unique export of Korean culture. Loved this episode

So many kids dressed in Kpop Demon Hunter costumes, seeing foods with character cobranding, being featured prominently in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade - reminds me of when Frozen was the big deal for my kid and her cousins.
