I read A LOT. I have a spreadsheet to track what I've read or listened to, and I post them so others can discover them.

I'm also obsessed with hockey. Go Pens! Go Griffins! Go Fuel! Go Thunderbolts! Go Thunderbirds! Go Victoire!
Lol my husband used to do that on his breaks too!

I don't have my reading glasses on, so sometimes I glance over words and read them incorrectly. I could've sworn I read "garlic romance" and had to go back and squint at it 'cause I think I'm the only person who'd go for a garlic romance lol

I'm so sorry. That's what happened with my mom last year. She was in hospice for about three months before passing. I'm so sorry

I've had loads of other relatives like cousins and great uncles in the military, and I've had loads more of my in-laws who've served throughout the history of the United States. For all of them, thank you. To all the other veterans out there: thank you! Thank you thank you thank you. I love you all!

And my great-great-great-great-great-great grandpa was in the French and Indian War (aka the Seven Years War). Pretty sure his name was Richard Queen. There were two Queens together from Maryland in that war.

Bennett Hanson Clements was in the army during the American Revolution, and the Maryland home of one of my ancestors was used for the vote to declare independence from England. There was another ancestor in the Revolution, a Gardiner, I think, but I'm less clear about his details.

I had another ancestor in the American Civil War: James M. Queen, my great-great-great grandpa, but he died of disease in Kentucky before seeing any fighting.
