Why the subtweet? Years ago, I was outed by someone about my little side. I cut them off. Recently, they asked for a free TV I was giving away. Twice they failed to show, then tried to guilt trip me for not giving them a third chance.

I don’t owe them anything. Respect is a two-way street.

Funny how people who’ve burned bridges still expect you to carry their load when they can’t follow through. Reliability is the simplest form of respect: announce, follow through. Fail at that, and don’t come crying about closure.

My flight back was me passing the fucky out even before take-off, and waking up approximately 30 minutes before landing... Tiredness... yep.

YEAAAAAH. Flying back to Vancouver Monday night. To pack for BFC Tuesday. To fly out Wednesday morning... 😅

Fuck. This is a lot of travel. Before moving in a couple weeks.

Then going on my Asia adventure.

Thinking back on it... been a weird birthday. Can't really shake one of those feelings. It's not been bad, perse.

Just, certainly, still getting ambushed by the feels of things that are absent now, too.

Birthdays still don't feel quite complete without her around. She'd always offer to make some kind of fun dessert on my birthday.

Cheesecakes, cobblers, pound cake... there'd always be something fun that she'd whip up around this time each year.

Alas, no more. Yet another reminder of that loss. :/
