Go outside at 3am because you can't sleep and the door gets stuck, leaving you outside :( I mean it's okay for me to use DnD on my phone, just not others because I do silly goose things like this

Lol I just called up another relo and the parole board came back earlier than we expected, and it's what we hoped for! Yay! Less than a month to go and they will be free! I had been checking their current address, but it's too late for another letter now so just asking their guardians to pass it on

I have a relative in prison and their parole is in a few weeks. I am nervous for them! I imagine there's no post-prison care except by local communities, they need time to heal from it all. I hope everything goes smoothly with release, even if I'm too far to offer much in the way of support

Zuck can try to mask it with pig hunting and martial arts (apparently his idea of "masculinity"), but it's just misogyny all the way down.

When you become chronically ill - people leave you. They may be supportive at first but many grown impatient when you don’t “get better”.

They refuse to accept the realities of the “chronic” part of chronic illness. They leave you behind.

This is especially hard at the holidays. 1/2

Woke up this morning to a little visitor! Vlad was unsure, but not too worried about them. We made sure they got home safely (but it seems the neighbours catio is not as secure as previously thought lol but that's okay, kitties are safe here)

You'd think that decades of chronic pain, I'd be less surprised by a new diagnosis (that's been missed by doctors for who knows how long). Then to see surgery rates where 20-40% don't work?!? Ughhh

Omfg this >< at least some I've seen seem to think that I can exercise my way out of chronic pain! Uhh no. And then all my meds to manage said pain increase weight too. I'm not Sisyphus-ing weight just for their peace of mind
Doctors will do nothing to address your chronic illness and then when it gets worse go "hmm well you also gained weight..."

I have been using the Medisafe app for years to track and manage my meds, but from 8 December they will only let you track and manage 2 medications for free, and you have to pay a monthly subscription if you want to put more on. Dicks.

Any suggestions for a FREE meds app that does the same things?

So I have this thing I call the hug mat on my kitchen bench. When I come inside from having a coffee, Vlad will sit on it and is the perfect height to get pats (because chronic pain = bending is hard)

Hahaha who doesn't love chronic illness/pain? I'm on the babiest of baby exercises and, in trying some new ones, am not sure if it's painful so I should do the previous ones or just sore like it should be post exercise. It's been 5 minutes
