So sorry that your project got hit by the devs of Mtion like that. Still find their whole situation very weird to be honest, great that they went with the crowd funding Indiegogo but they're certainly asking for a lot for their base goal. I hope it works out always.

Can I just say that no creative software should hold an artists work hostage? The base goal for MXM is crazy high and if it isn't met, what happens to everyone's hard work? Converting the project as an FBX should be something they can do now, not as part of their campaign success.
