Some more details on the Blue Jay character.
Still looking good, and I've added a temporary photo background until I find a better one in my photo gallery. This is only part of the headshot, as the rest hasn't changed much from WiP#2.
It should be done soon, maybe this weekend.

I've been working on this semi-realistic headshot of this blue jay character from a post I made not long ago about doing more birds.
Here's the sketch and the coloring that's now being worked on.

Just got done working on a semi-real Mimikyu.
I used a brush that I used on a plush character last year. I gave the "tail" & cloth a worn look as well.
And since most images of the mon don't have any eyes showing, I gave it one. (show you can tell something is looking out) #pokemon

Recently did a semi-real take of Shaymin.
But for my take, I gave it a more grass-like appearance and changed its shiny from a teal to a more brownish coloring (like some other grass Pokémon have)
There are plans for one that resembles its official design later.

This comic was inspired by 2 screenshots I took from Pokemon Go, in which both images involved a large Sealeo.
In the comic, Sealeo is blocking a doorway to a pizza place that both Sprigatito & Wooper wanted to go to. (of course, things happens)

Been thinking about doing some more in this "nature sketchbook" style. (This might also include little details like "names" and other info, like you would see in actual nature sketches)
This would be more of a "messy" sketchy style, not like those with cleaner lines.

Well, about a week later, and now I'm able to show what I was working on for an art challenge in another's discord.
Their theme of the month was "Disney or Pixar characters done in your style."
Of course, I have many styles. As for the character, I went with Iago in a semi-real look.

Been doing some "nature" sketches of some original animal species of mine.
And while I have already done this animal before. I went and made a younger one of it as well.
I don't have a cool name for the species. Instead, I've been calling them "forest dogs".

After not seeing Khris in a long time, Selia "runs" to greet him. But due to her size, she instead knocks him down and lands on him. Also, feeling a little tired, she fell asleep. (He's going to be there for a while, it seems)

After seeing how well-liked the art of Sonya from ArtFight 2025 had gotten. I decided to go and redo this older sketch (yes, an actual sketch done in pencil and paper)
Funny thing is, artists forget she does have hair, and I have no idea where the hat came from to begin with but I kept it 😅

Yep. It's the Re-Return of this toucan.
Now, while I do plan on reworking it all, this will be over time.
As for now, I'm just focusing on the beak.
