~70M ppl/yr experience TBI globally, but most imaging tools don’t handle injured brains well. Let’s do better! If you develop a tool and want to see how it handles major structural deviations, reach out! The @enigmabrains.bsky.social TBI group has data and a strong desire to collaborate.

The audience overlap between neurotrauma and neuroimaging meetings is quite low and this really holds back research. TBI is a fascinating lens through which to examine other factors like aging, sex, psychological disorders, and early life stress.
