“We’ve had a number of these historical moments in Helldivers. And the Xbox players that are coming in… they’ve missed some of these, but they’re creating new ones together.”

I have no idea who is going to buy a cube-shaped games machine that doesn’t have a handle. Ridiculous design choice by Valve

Not entirely sure who the main audience for Steam Machine is. I think there’s really a very small audience for this. Which is, of course, fine.

Genuinely wish I could have captured the look on my five-year-old’s face when Rosalina makes her entrance in the Super Mario Galaxy movie. It was joyous. We’ve now watched the trailer 11 times

Whether you agree with the review or not, I’ve not had so many messages about Eurogamer in an eternity (ok, most of them venomous, but still). Nobody is buying or not buying Arc Raiders based on a late media review in 2025. The Very Positive user score will be the main thing folks look at.
Rich PvE combat and an unusually friendly community make Arc Raiders a more approachable extraction shooter than most, but Embark Studios' continued use of AI voice generation is a black mark against its reputation.

My job isn't really about huge reader numbers. Business media is about audience quality, rather than audience size. But I must admit... having some pieces that are read by hundreds of thousands is a pretty good feeling. Particularly when the comments are so lovely. I should have done this years ago
