The horses were transported in a large trailer and left excrement everywhere. There were multiple large boats and police mobile command centres set up. The police presence was decidedly not climate friendly.

The police have horses on the beach. Horses.

Few shots from the beach. Not sure I have ever been more dissatisfied with policing or state/federal governments decision making than today. Up close look at just a few of the resources police have available and choose to use when instructed by govt on a non violent protest to save the planet.

Walked out to the beach and this is where it gets ridiculous. The police presence is completely over the top. Not where I want my tax dollars going.

I’m down at the Foreshore now. It’s a very peaceful and fun atmosphere. There is a police presence which frankly seems completely unnecessary.

Our local news can talk about shoreline destruction and this weekends Rising Tide protest IN THE SAME PROGRAM and yet not think to link the two issues together.
