2. Patients are often (still) being given the FND diagnosis when “no disease is found.”

This is not how it should be done.

FND needs to be diagnosed based on positive signs / clinical features that establish that FND is present.

calling autism a “tragedy” and saying that there should be fewer autistic people are eugenicist talking points. Everyone who opposes such views also needs to recognize the ways in which everyday ableism left the door wide open for a person like RFK Jr.

3/3) WW2 Nazis targeted those they felt to be less than normal. Trump & co don’t care about autistic people who can serve their needs (e.g. Musk). They want rid of those who need support from others & society - the vulnerable & dependent. This is big and terrifying and we can’t stay quiet about it.

2/3) There’s no link between parental actions and a child being autistic. Parents of children with additional needs fight for equity for our children in a world that’s not set up for it. We feel guilt for not fighting hard enough, when there’s no more fight in us. Please don’t make it worse for us.
