the mod has a cloud that you upload the avatar to. So anyone else with the mod installed will be able to see your avatar even if the server doesn't.

As for size, figura is a completely clientside mod so it won't affect your interaction with the game at all. It won't affect your hitbox and you'll have to use something like pehkui to change that

item holding placement I can set to wherever when making the model, I usually put it in the mouth for quadrupedal ones (see like in this one I made, about 20 seconds in)

I do regular skin comms as well! Though the figura mod is completely clientside so you can play it on vanilla servers and stuff if you were concerned about that
