"It is simply not true that vaccines aren’t tested against placebos (including inert saline placebos). Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or willfully ignorant." And when trials use other controls, it's for good reasons, like an existing old version.

Vaccines are tested against placebos
Lately, my Facebook page has been flooded with people insisting that  “no vaccine is tested against a placebo” (sometimes stated with additional qualifiers like “double-blind” or “saline placebo”).…

We have fished so many of these out of Strawberry Creek. It has been years since I last saw one in the Shattuck areas of Berkeley.
Just as you thought food delivery companies couldn't inflict any more misery on society:

Instead of using lowly-paid gig economy contractors to deliver groceries, they're replacing humans with robots, who, in turn, force humans off the pavement into road traffic.

BREAKING: NYT reporting that Trump has just fired 8 immigration judges in New York City who worked at 26 Federal Plaza. That's NYC ICE HQ.

In the city that declares "give us your tired your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free," Trump shuts down due process for immigrants. This is fascism.

Based on my years of reporting on this, we got here because the medical industrial complex did not give one single fuck about women, and still doesn’t, which trained women to not trust medical experts and then orgs like Goop swept in and made money off of that.

I just *love* that they say the point of this fee is “so travelers, not taxpayers, foot the bill” because what this is *really* going to do is ensure I’m stuck in line with a bunch of miserable boomer fucks acting like they haven’t flown since 1992 - but now in a new flavor!
TSA to start charging travelers $45 if they don't have a Real ID. Here are the details.
Flyers without Real IDs, passports or other accepted forms of identification will need to pay a $45 fee starting Feb. 1.

Frogs drink most of their dietary water through their butts.

Kermit could not be reached for comment.
Have you ever seen a toad or frog 'wallow' in a puddle after a dry spell?

You may know that they mostly drink through their skin, but not all over!

There's a "seat patch" on their bellies that makes up ~10% of skin surface, but absorbs 70% of liquid in a rehydrating frog or toad.
