Finished watching Brain Powerd the other day. Love how the robots have like new agey-sounding powers (like Chakra blasts and Organic Waves). Also love how the robots are sentient organisms, and the pilots have to spend time managing their robot's feelings.

Kodak Easyshare DX4530. Picked this up recently from a thrift store for $20. Played around with it a bit today and it's kinda finnicky and difficult to use but the photos look great. I see the obsession with Kodak Color Science now. #photography #digicam

Won a working HP Photosmart 435 from a contest with a compatible SD card(!!). Just arrived so this is just a random test shot but the grain looks sooooooo good. Probably gonna have to stock up on alkalines though because the rechargeable AAs aren't playing nice with it.

Apparently CHDK has a fix for this. Had to generate a badpixels file and set RAW format to DNG 1.1, and that seems to have fixed the problem, so now I can enjoy taking delicious grainy CCD photos. It does unfortunately make it so that it takes a long time to save the photos though (like 3-4s).
