The Down’s Syndrome Association has joined Mencap and other organisations and campaigners in signing a joint letter to Wes Streeting MP, calling for urgent action to address current challenges relating to the learning disability nursing workforce.

There are a small minority of children and adults who in addition to having Down’s syndrome, also have another medical condition, which means that they are immunosuppressed.

It is only these people who have Down’s syndrome that will be eligible for an autumn COVID booster: https://loom.ly/P-5DZ7k

Jimbob is a funny and cheeky 13-year-old boy who has Down’s syndrome. He is full of life and lives by the sea in Cornwall with his family.

We spoke with Jimbob’s mum, Sara, who told us all about Jimbob and how he got into surfing. 🏄‍♂️
