Dublin, One City, Many Stories celebrates 15 years of Dublin as a City of Literature and is a promotion of the @irishwriterscentre.bsky.social and their work as an all-island resource for writers at all stages of their careers

Each workshop will feature a guest writer from the island of Ireland who will share their work and talk about their own creative process. Island of Many Voices will culminate in an in-person showcase event at The Linen Hall.

This programme is free to selected participants.

As its title suggests, this initiative seeks to celebrate and amplify the varied and diverse voices from across this island.

Up to twenty writers will have the opportunity to benefit from six online workshops, curated and facilitated by writer-facilitator Fiona O’Rourke

Michał has been performing for ten years now on various slam stages in Wroclaw and beyond. Creator of theatre plays, stand-up comedian and improviser, he draws on all this experiences in his performances. He experiments with form. While performing, he jumps between genres, styles and moods

This is why he now spends most of his time performing and creating with jazz musicians, embracing both sonic and lyrical improvisation. His poems can be found in cultural publications, and with those same jazz musicians, he organizes performative readings. He’s also studying Lithuanian philology.
