Finally, Omega. Same list of bands, but now Kate Bush's score has been increased to 500,000 points. Maybe they wanted a top score that was harder for players to beat. Or maybe they just played Hounds of Love on repeat all summer and got hooked. ALL HAIL KATE BUSH!

Gigas Mark II: Kate Bush joins the scoreboard at the top of the list, Run DMC booted off the bottom. Run DMC's 10 points read to me like a "de minimus" amount in a will - included to let a relative know they weren't forgotten, the deceased deliberately chose not to give them anything. (2/3)

Today I joined other volunteers from @cclusa.org for a lobby meeting with the office of @sarajacobs.house.gov. We had a chance to push for action on energy permitting reform. We also spoke in favor of passing the Fix Our Forests Act when when it comes back to the House.

San Diego only has perfect soup weather a few times per year. This weekend is one of those times. It's raining buckets out there. A perfect day for a new soup recipe. Red lentil and spinach soup with roasted red pepper, served with sourdough toast.

Chicago part 1! Ate vegan Philly cheesesteak egg rolls (amazing) and a taco combo. Met lots of co-workers in person for the first time. And played shuffleboard.

1cc #887: Buriki One. A big sweaty fighting game with big beefy sound effects. Weirdly, uses buttons to move and joystick to attack, instead of the other way around. An easy 1cc with Ryo using his double kick - the CPU tends to block the first kick then eat the second.

1cc #886: My Hero. A short game with peppy music and easy boss battles - but it's HARD! You die in one hit. Regular enemies love to spawn and move in unpredictable ways. It feels like sometimes the game just wants you dead. Took more attempts to get a clear than I thought...but it's done at last!
