Not your kind of author, but my mom used to send me pictures whenever she saw one of my books in a store. And she insisted on buying one of each (programming books, she wasn't a programmer 🙂)

Yeah, I'm opposed to ever creating content/markup "for machines", (this applies to SEO as well), because generating clean HTML would be good for people too... but then I view source on a React site

So, a couple of things :)

Generally you'd just generate the .md version, not create different docs.

But, there's no reason why they can't parse HTML, assuming it is well written semantic HTML, not a 1000 nested <div>s ... and there is no real proof I've seen that having llms.txt is helpful.

The first time this happened was when I replied to a @wilwheaton.net blog post about parenting I believe, and he replied with a normal human reply. Nothing crazy, but I watched that guy on a shitty tv in my dorm, it hits different.
