BlueSky shows that if you offer up a reasonable alternative to a toxic App, a sustainable audience will migrate and stick with you through the growing pains. We need to start doing this for EVERY compromised App, from TikTok to Facebook. And I think UK/Europe should be doing this ASAP together.

The only thing guaranteed on the other side of a starting line is that nothing is guaranteed on the other side of a starting line. That’s why it takes courage and hope to truly cross one. This is about running. This is not about running.

As a teenager in the 90s I never dreamt that I would get to see @heavenlyamelia.bsky.social play live. Last night’s gig at Islington Assembly Hall was one of the best I’ve been to - and yes I’ve been to a lot 😂 Great mix of old songs and new. Delightful to see so many young fans! Thanks Heavenly! ❤️

Devastated to hear about Brian Wilson. Pet Sounds has always been far more than just an album to me - it’s been a lifeline during my darkest days and a companion in my brightest. I’ve listened to it thousands of times. Some albums stay with you - this one transformed me. RIP Maestro.
