It's always satisfying when you see the tools you helped design working like they are supposed to. For the F43 CoreOS test week this week I dusted off my Raspberry Pi 4 and let autoupdates happen. It fully updated to the latest version even though there were many changes in between with how we […]

Today after some wrangling I got the community-developed Arch build for the @pine64 PineNote working. It was not easy for the likes of me, but with the help of other community members on @matrix I got it, and it is a huge improvement.

Yes, I could have bought a just-works e-ink tablet, but this […]

I’ve […]

Calm before the conference. If you're at #froscon check out the Flatcar booth right at the Mensa, next to #kairos and near #fedora #coreos.

I have a #kubernetes #sysext talk on #Flatcar #container #linux at 6 tomorrow, and @tormath1 will follow up with a hands-on tutorial on Sunday at 4.

South Carolina raised a confederate flag over its state house in the 1960s to show contempt for desegregation and Black Americans pursuing civil rights.

Four decades later they moved it to a flagpole at a monument to men who died fighting to preserve chattel slavery.

1.5 hours for a rawhide compose... not bad. The new hardware in the new datacenter is pretty zippy.

RHEL 10 makes a solid desktop/laptop distro. In a lot of ways RHEL 9 did too but #gnome was too old to have dark mode. #rhel 10 solved that. With #containers and #flatpak, I get all the new apps and utilities while keeping the rock solid stable base. It's really good. ❤️ #redhat

#fedora datacenter move starting today (around 10UTC)!

Many contributor services will be down monday/tuesday, but end user services (like mirrorlists for dnf, mirrors, docs/downloads sites) should be fine.

Follow https://www.fedorastatus.org for updates.

Thanks in advance for your patience!

The street that my mum lives in is a one-way street, but wasn't marked as such on #google Maps. This caused many drivers to drive the wrong way. I have tried to edit it on Google Maps (there is such functionality), but to no avail. No matter how often I submitted a change (with photos of street […]
