(🚨) MAJOR BREAKING NEWS: President Donald Trump, Who Pardoned Convicted Seditious Conspirators After January 6, Calls for a Number of Military-Veteran Democratic Members of the House and Senate to Be Executed Simply for Reminding U.S. Soldiers That They Can Refuse Illegal Orders

Trump doesn’t like data. He eschews facts. He wants investors and consumers — and everyone else — to be in the dark, because then he can lie without fear of factual contradiction. He can pretend that he’s been wildly successful even when he’s been a terrible failure.

Genuinely feels that Democrats didn’t know how to act in a situation where they were clearly winning. Punting and giving up is much more familiar, so they panicked and did that instead.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

This is officially one of the strangest pictures in American history, and I do not doubt that it will be considered iconic a hundred years from now.

100% serious here.

It is incumbent upon every American to befriend an absurdly rich person who can call up President Trump on your behalf if he decides to ruin your life.
Mayor Daniel Lurie of San Francisco relied on powerful tech executives — Sam Altman, Marc Benioff and others — and worked behind the scenes to deter President Trump from sending a rush of federal agents to his city.
How San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie Avoided Trump’s Enforcement Surge
Daniel Lurie, the San Francisco mayor, relied on powerful tech executives and his own low-key approach to help his liberal city escape a rush of federal agents.

The real choice Democrats face is not between a continuing resolution that allows the government to function normally or a government shutdown.

Under the Trump regime, the government is not functioning normally. It is already shutting down.

Why vote to legitimize Trump's coup?

Very straightforwardly detained by secret police for speech. I honestly don't know what establishment figures are telling themselves any more to avoid cognitive dissonance over this shit.
ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

He sings “If you hate brown people / and you are a Nazi” and ICE thugs grab him and drag him into detention. No violence—just speech.

Uh... so he's openly trying to rig a foreign election for a friend of his and a friend of his top donor—Musk—by saying that Argentinians will only get $20 billion dollars in American aid if they vote for Milei?

So this money Trump is stealing from US taxpayers is not to help Argentina, but his pal?

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

US liberals are constantly faced with the same crossroads as usual: Should they risk progressive policies that lead to socialism OR should they risk conservative policies that lead to fascism? Such a tough decision!

And then when they repeatedly pick wrong, it's everyone else's fault but theirs.

Just to be clear: Brian Kilmeade *did not* endorse euthanizing homeless people. He advocated MURDERING over 700,000 of them.

And on a network that has been *beside itself* over the murder of just one man this week.

It is hard to think of a more explicit directive to the radical right than “I don’t care what you do, and in fact I agree with your motivation.”

He’s already pardoned violent extremists and this is a promise to pardon more.
EARHARDT: We have radicals on the right as well. How do we fix this country?

TRUMP: I'll tell you something that's gonna get me in trouble but I couldn't care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don't want to see crime. The radicals on the left are the problem.

Charlie Kirk was an unrelenting and divisive racist, misogynist, and homophobe with a media platform. That wasn’t politics. That was monetizing hate.

NEW: No, Charlie Kirk was not practicing politics the right way. That's what Ezra Klein said. We can condemn this heinous assassination but also recognize that with his 2020 election denialism and extremist rhetoric, Kirk built his movement with falsehoods and in a wrong and divisive manner.
