What's my WHY?

There’s a misconception that introverts are “less than” extroverts, but that’s simply not true. We’re not better or worse—we’re just different. And those differences come with incredible strengths.

I am here to help you harness those strengths.
Had a gratitude reset over the weekend. I often get impatient with myself because I feel like I should be further along in my career. My wife helped me realize how far we have come at our ages and to enjoy where we are now.

So here is your chance to begin again this week, with clarity.

This weekend would be a great time to give this a try.

Imagine having a tiny playbook that quietly shifts the way you show up at work. Something you can use instantly, without forcing yourself to be louder, bolder, or “more extroverted.”

That’s essentially what this Starter Kit is.

Interested? Yes, it's free.

What's not talked about with Introverts, part 5:

Quiet personalities often build connections in ways most people never notice. One of the most underrated examples is low-signal social mirroring. It’s not the obvious kind where someone matches your posture or copies your gestures. 👇

Introverts and Emotions

Feelings are organized into private “files” and processed one at a time, deeply.
People assume intense internal feelings must show on the face; for many introverts, it doesn’t.
Often misread as apathy.
When in a safe one-on-one, their emotional language is unusually precise.

Introverts live in "what if" networks

We mentally run long chains of alternative scenarios to understand relationships.
This leads to creative problem solutions that seem out of left field to others.
Often misread as overthinking or paralysis.

Introverts are often very good at quietly reading situations and predicting how people will react; sometimes more accurately than the outspoken people in the room.

But they don’t announce those predictions or their thought process out loud. They update their understanding internally, not publicly.

The holidays aren’t about constant engagement; they’re about choosing the moments that matter.

You don’t have to be ‘on’ the entire time.

You’re not Santa.

You’re not being graded.

You get to decide where your energy goes.

An introvert parent going to a middle school sporting event to support their child is mentally hard enough after a full workday. I don't need the dad in the stands two rows behind me yelling at their kid, who is trying their best. No scholarships are being handed out! Chill, man

I like being alone because it’s calm. No one interrupts my thoughts or shifts my mood. I make my own choices, move at my own pace, and think clearly. It’s a kind of peace that’s hard to find when others are around

Any other introverts feel this?
Them: what are your hobbies?

Me: I love coming home and being at home…and sitting inside my home…and staying home.

Self-awareness is your anchor. The more you understand yourself, the less you need to explain yourself.
