My one concern about ever having an electric vehicle is… do they come in standard transmission or only automatic?
I’m sure I don’t have to worry… I’m in poverty and hoping my 2015 Mazda 3 lasts me until I die (it wont… I mean, unless I die really early). There’s no way I can afford a new vehicle.

It takes some people to DIRECTLY EXPERIENCE a thing in order to develop any empathy for others. I hate it, but it’s better than nothing. Cases like this also demonstrate the way these people dramatically compartmentalize to protect their other beliefs from being touched by their one awakening.

Came to comments looking to see if anyone else would bring this up, as it was my first thought. So-called “AI” shit is definitely one pressure, but there’s more: There’s ALSO the way the so-called “adult” world comports itself (republican crime sprees), but also unrecognized medical trauma.

Correct. That’s why it’s actually a big deal to discuss illegal orders and the responsibility to NOT follow them. Unfortunately, this instruction likely receives far less reinforcement than obedience to superiors receives. Kinda like how courts hate jurors who ask about nullification.

I’m in the “at risk” category due to poverty, disability, and some weird attack angles this regime has going. I respect anyone who fights against tyranny through protest & civil disobedience. My motive here is to present nuance when someone says “we all should stop paying taxes”. 👍🏽

Oh I agree. Sadly, there’s also practical factor here: MOST people are not safe. Most people are vulnerable to being made an example of. Most people don’t have the resources to “lawyer-up” and join in risky civil actions. This is not a character failing; it is simply human frailty.

That said, YES, there ARE insincere actors here & on other social media. They ARE working to create a permission structure; to make everyone opposing the right look “as bad as or worse”. Distinguishing between them is hard. It’s all the more important to be united against them by standing firm.

I’ve great sympathy for such people, but fear them enabling the worst human potentials, where victims excuse extreme acts, becoming victimizers by losing themselves in self-righteousness. By saying I fear any extremism, I’m not equivocating left/right; I’m trying to stop good people from going bad.
