And those kinds of debates about the Edelweiss Pirates and the Swing Kids will be part of our discussion. I've not seen the film, but it looks to be available in the US via Amazon Prime. Thanks for the suggestion!

Biathlon is my favorite winter sport other than hockey. I find the whole heart rate control stuff fascinating.

Seghers could be good – I'll have to think about it.

The Sophie Scholl Insta thing creeps me out, but it's a good conversation! Thanks.

Someone else also recommended this one. I've seen it, and it's good – though I also never would have thought of it without people mentioning it, so thanks!

I teach Undesirables in my world history by graphic narratives course and was thinking about it here as well. Thanks.

I've not see it – I'll take a look. Thanks.

Thanks – I'll take a look. It also seems more manageable in terms of length, if I want to do something in class.

A colleague who loves Battlestar Galactica has long told me that I should watch – and I guess that I should! Thanks.

Thanks – I'll give it a look.

Thanks! I love the Andor series. I hadn't thought of All the Light We Cannot See, but that fits. Defiance too. Some other great suggestions here but not sure that they fit as well for what I'm thinking.

It is – it's not the best film, but I have great affection for it.

I hadn't been thinking more board games than video games, in part so that we can have an in-class games day. But I can probably also set up a laptop station for video games. I'll take a look – thanks!

This is on the list already – I've found that it teaches well, so I continue to use it despite its age.

I have it but haven’t yet played it. I sometimes do a games day the final day of class. I have Black Orchestra and Valkyrie but need to see how long they are. Rosenstrasse is too long for a class period.

Thanks. This one is definitely on the list, and I agree with the age dynamic. I’m thinking of pairing it with the White Rose graphic novel.

Also, if you have favorite scholarly articles about non-conformity, opposition, and/or resistance in/against Nazi Germany, feel free to post those as well. I already have a lot, but I’m always looking for things that work well with undergrads (majors and non-majors).

I've been wanting to watch this since it first came out. It would be nice if they would release it in the US sometime soon!
