I eat, drink, watch, listen, and play. I also teach and study real estate finance at Clemson.
We canceled Thanksgiving because there was an accident right before our guests came in (some actually showed up, we just said we'd call with updates. Everyone's alive and we'll recover. The thing is... Now we have turkey🦃 for the rest of the year, it seems.

Today I learned that Einstein's son, Hans Albert, lived in Greenville working as an engineer for USDA.

Apparently his house still stands.

Normally I ignore the suggested tracks because the sequence rarely makes sense (combining different genres, including instrumental, etc.). But sometimes (like now), everything's a mess so I just embrace the chaos. A random mid-opera recitativo right after an indy rock track, sure why not?

These game shops existed in my hometown's market when I was a kid. I'd stay there playing N64 while my mom ran errands downtown.

This is in CLT airport in front of my gate.

For years I looked for a "good" parenting book for dads and I just found it in the fiction section. Abbott Awaits is one of the most beautiful things I've read in the last few years. If you're not a dad, it's a remarkable novel. If you are, you may see yourself portrayed many times.
