Here are your survey responses for the day.

People in this city are smart. We should listen to them.
East Bank Boulevard should prioritize its new neighborhoods as being destinations, and not a thoroughfare for car dominated traffic. Orient the corridor around walking first, then bikes and mobility devices, then transit, and last of all, cars. This is a clean slate to do things differently and we can't squander the opportunity. One lane for cars in either direction is plenty. If people want to get through the area quickly, they can take the eight lane freeway that's only three blocks away. Nashville is 1st in the US for miles of roadway per person, out of the top 60 cities. We have 2 miles of roadway for every 1000 residents. This Boulevard can help demonstrate a better way forward. We need strong examples of safe, active streets built for people, that will set new precedents of success. Creating this model from square one will help show the path forward for other parts of the city. If we can't get it right here, what hope do we have for retrofitting so many of our existing corridors?
