The bubble crystal on the retro dial and case. Coupled with a richly hued and textured nato strap.
Supposedly powered by an NH35 but lacking a date window. Accurate, too — +6spd or so.

Wearing this Casio A100-WE is like wearing a little piece of retro cassette futurism, in wrist accessory form. There’s a nerdy sort of confidence about the slab corners, four buttons on the face, and polish all around, coupled with the very 70s device-ish face.

The dial is … deep. The hour markers have chunk and facet. The hands are bold. The face iridescent, with a lattice-like design. It’s great!

Picked up this Bernie VH31 mechaquartz titanium field watch and I have to say, it’s hard to be satisfied with regular quartz now. Oh, and the lume on this thing is unreal. Not a bad piece for the price.
