ECHO will improve these areas’ critical infrastructure and essential services via a multi-level Resilience Ecosystem. This a network of people and institutions that make societies safer, adaptable and prepared like Critical Infrastructure operators, Emergency Service Providers and local/regional authorities. ECHO will solve this problem by uniting these groups and developing the following for them: An EU-sovereign Knowledge Hub – a web-based catalogue of resources; An Information Sharing Protocol – a framework on how to manage and share resources; A resilience Strategy – a plan for how peri-urban areas can prepare for, respond to and recover from challenges; AI technologies for multi-hazard threats.

This cluster unites projects under the Disaster Resilient Societies framework that improve responder technologies.

Stay tuned for new networks, knowledge exchange & joint activities with fellow Secure Societies projects

We were excited to discuss the solutions we will develop over the next 3 years, with the unifying message being to tailor them to our users' needs & address the current challenges faced in critical infrastructure.

Day 2 of ECHO's kick off meeting is underway in Athens!

Our meeting continued with presentations on the project’s impact maximisation & quality management, followed by a Q&A session & plans for the next 6 months of the project.

Today, the ECHO consortium has gathered in Athens for the project’s kick-off meeting.

We have begun the day with a welcome from our project coordinator, Netcompany, followed by an address from our project officer & an overview of our plans for the next 6 months.
