Just saw the ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ movie. It’s depressing, but also moving in a relentlessly quiet manner. Much like the Nebraska album itself.

Great show by Vampire Weekend tonight at Stage AE in Pittsburgh. The wife, the kids and I all had a great time! And it was our first (non-free) concert as a family.

I’m going to give a little post-countdown love for Eric Clapton’s “Lay Down Sally.” In the style of J.J. Cale, but it’s a Clapton original. And I really like it, if for no other reason than the strength of backup vocals from Marcy Levy and Yvonne Elliman. #AT40
