As a former professor, let me just say that this is complete and utter bullshit, but sadly unsurprising.
At a lot of public universities in the South, administrators do NOT have the backs of their faculty or students, but instead do whatever the Chancellor or Regent (a political appointee) wants.

I am currently in the midst of an existential crisis. I love, love, love single serving foods (baby ketchup, I’m looking at you), but also love, love, love the environment.
Any way you companies could also love, love, love the environment and come up with sustainable single serving packaging?

I haven’t written much this week (I know, I know), but I did manage to get my apartments to lower my rent increase from $150 to only $50, so I guess that’s something productive.
And just in case you’re wondering, that still means my rent will be $2,439 a month for a relatively decent one bedroom.
