aww rip. i come from a big card game family, so earlier my nephew and i demolished and pinochle and now the sibs and i are playing 65 (which i think ed and izzy would also like but i can never figure out if its a real game or not or known by some other name lmao and google isn’t helping much)

my family used to ban couples from playing together bc of this phenomenon

they’re suspiciously (maybe cheating) good as a team against other teams at anything but i like to imagine pinochle. as for by themselves idk (there is a two person version of pinochle i think, but i’ve never played). rummy for sure
