It was a pleasure to open the Social Europe Forum hosted by Confrontations Europe and @eesc.bsky.social discussing the role of social policy in shaping Europe's recovery and transformation.

For Europe's recovery to succeed, we must align social ambition with economic competitiveness.

While in Warsaw, I was thrilled to meet with journalist and filmmaker Andrey Gnyot to discuss Europe’s future and the urgent need to protect the freedom, safety, and creative rights of journalists like him across the EU.
