Dr. Carla Hayden has served as Librarian of Congress with honor and distinction, bringing our prized institution to new heights.

Trump’s outrageous, politically-motivated move to fire her is despicable. The Library of Congress belongs to the American people — NOT to Trump.

This is Trumpian. Don't call it anything else.
Poilievre just called CTV News’ Judy Trinh a “protester” because she dared try to ask him a question outside of the incredibly rigid four-questions-no-follow-up process his party has.

Very cool stuff

It's useful to keep in mind that some version of what happened to Mahmoud Kahlil happens multiple times each day to others, and it has been happening for quite some time. #freemahmoudkhalil #abolishice #migrationisahumanright
There's no doubt in my mind that Khalil is meant to be an object lesson and an expansion of abuse (but also, ICE fucked up on his paperwork and so they had to double down).

But it's important for folks to know there's FAR TOO MUCH precedent for this, including during Dem terms.
ICE has a long history of detaining non-citizens for things they say in public. Here's an arrest from 2017 in which they went far out of their way to find a man who publicly spoke out against his gf's deportation after they set her up in a bizarre pinata-based sting

RFK and the current climate pose many dangers, including:

1) Anti-pseudoscience folks veering anti-justice by rejecting valid critiques of science as “anti-science”

2) Pro-justice folks veering pro-pseudoscience by falling for skeptic grifters who claim to fight systemic harm

Both fuel eugenics.
