So impressed with my wife and her ability to hand spin alpaca fiber into yarn. These were made from one of our alpaca boys fiber.

The cold is here, and our girls are cooshed or grazing out in the field. They all can go into barns if they want but they prefer the cold outside. This is why we shear in the late spring, so they have warm coats by the first real cold of winter. #alpaca #smallfarm #alpacafarm #smallbusiness

Since we're down to two male alpacas it was time to put Joe the Llama in with them. After a bit of discussions between them yesterday in the pasture they calmed down. Over night they were inside the same stall, from the look of things this morning all went well. #llama #alpaca

Joe Cool the Llama that we "rescued" from a farm. Due to the season we can't shear him yet, he has over 3 years of hair growth, which isn't bad for a Llama, but the shear number of mats in his hair is crazy. We've been working through it slowly, here's his latest picture! #llama #smallfarm
