Reminds me of how Family Guy did it with "funny" gags like Peter waiting a solid minute to sing Baba O'riley, or the long name of an heiress that takes a minute to say (which they say four times). It's like they said in the writing room "y'know, what if we just made these jokes an endurance test?"
