I've made lots of mistakes but I'm happy with this #LOTR beast. I still need to paint the base and create a small scenery to display the miniatures.
I enjoyed some parts of the process but it was very stressful and difficult to handle.

I started painting. I looked for some references in the movie and noticed the blueish tone on its neck and off white chest. I just wish I had done a better job removing mould lines 🫠

Well... I finally gathered all my willpower, the super glue and sodium bicarbonate and glued the beast back together after the crash.
There is still hope for this awe inspiring miniature. Beware Frodo!

Priming done. I tried some cenital lighting with grey but the can was finishing and it produced some visible spots... Hopefully I can fix those in painting.
I also dropped the mini just after the picture, but luckily nothing broke 😅

Here's the beast after gluing it with epoxy. I'm still unsure some bits will hold up... Maybe the green stuff helps reinforcing a bit.
Looking forward to paint it, though it's a bit of boring one, all black. Oh well...
