Some fun charts I've made for intuitive understanding of some of the more theoretically difficult sections of my upcoming article.
Animation of a probability density function chart of a lognormal distribution, whose average L-wage rate (the variable measured), starts at 50%. As the proportion of laborers earning over 100% is approximately fixed, reductions in wage inequality increase the average L-wage rate, rapidly converging all wages to one rate. Animation of a bar chart increasing slowly initially, from 50%, then rapidly increasing all the way to 100%. The percentages indicate an increase in wage share as wage inequality reduces.
