Also, I just felt this movie was really a mixture of the previous movies and just oddly relies on a little too much modern stuff for comedy.

I just think they could've executed some of the ideas in this one alot better. There's some good ideas, just poorly done and felt generic

Okay, just watched the recent Smurfs movie, and......its pretty mid. Forgettable probably, but just mid.

I think in terms of visuals, it's definitely a tad bit better than The Lost Village, but the characters looked better in the real world than the old live action versions.
