My previous work MacBook lasted 12 years and the only reason I got a new one is that the battery started to swell and our IT guy happened to see it and practically yelled, "give that to me!!"

I was gonna say, this is more like she's calling an army to battle rather than celebrating a Christian holiday.

Well, that's tonight's nightmare sorted.

I was just talking with mah bestie the other day about how glad I am to have friends to whom I can say, "sorry, you have to leave now" and "I'm leaving - bye!" and know they'll roll with it.

The friends I used to hang with would eat at noon and then have leftovers for dinner at 5 or 6. On my own (preferred), I eat at 7.

Upstate NY and when I'm with the fam and we have others over, we eat around 3-4 too. This is mostly because 1. my relatives are Old and don't like driving at night, and 2. often there's Weather on T'giving and the relatives prefer to get home early.
