Don't forget, a LOT of UK employers offer six paid-for sessions of counselling via an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – if you're eligible you can use this time to talk about whatever, including making a plan of how to get regular support/cope while waiting for a referral

Still hearing anecdotal reports of 'low-cost counselling services' charging patients up to £70 to see... Trainee therapists.

📢 Clients and would-be clients, if you are paying for a low-cost service I HIGHLY recommend you seek a trained, qualified therapist. Lots offer sliding scale fees.
