Then garlic soy edamame. I used 10 cloves of garlic for half a kilo of edamame. Chiu Chow Chili Oil from Lee Kum Kee really helps the taste. My mom said I should sell it LOL.

Crispy fried kangkong/morning glory. This recipe can be used for spinach too, I think. Stick with mushroom powder instead of chicken powder. Chicken powder made it tastes like fritters from street vendors.

Also karaage last week. Husband wants it to be more crispy. So I guess I’ll use that flour mix instead of pure potato starch tomorrow. Maybe I shoud reduce the shoyu because apparently the flour mix is seasoned already? Don’t want it to be too salty.

I made Japanese chicken curry today. Using the boxed roux of course, because who has time to make it from scratch. It’s nice that Iron Chef’s Masaharu Morimoto encouraged the use of boxed roux so I feel less lazy.

Made another batch of mayak gyeran. One of the eggs cracked during the boiling process but somehow still salvageable. Still tasty AF.
