Some photographs I made in Alicante last month. I was there for a work offsite.

Two people are walking along a small road in the old city of Alicante. Along the side of the road there are a lot of plans in pots. There are a lot of balconies. View from the Castillo de Santa Bárbara towards the Mediterranean Sea. You can see one small tower in the foreground and the beach in the background.

I think Meta has baked in this effect instead of letting the OS do it. Brings back memories of apps embedding the squircle in the app icon itself, instead of letting the OS do it.

Thrilled with my iFi Audio ZEN CAN Signature (2023) analog headphone amp. Coming from the original ZEN CAN (2020), the sound improvement is genuinely noticeable on my Sennheiser HD600 and especially on my HiFiMAN Edition XS.
My current iFi Zen Stack consisting of my Zen DAC V2 (bottom), Zen Phono (middle), and Zen CAN Signature (top). Sitting on top my desk, underneath my Apple Studio Display. There is a Hart Audio Interconnect with a pink cable connected to the balanced 4.4mm output.

Last weekend I finished my first trail running event (Amerongse Berg Trail 12K). Really enjoyed it! Very well organized with lovely vibes and no sensory overload. On to the next one!

Last weekend I had a nice getaway to Veluwezoom National Park to recharge a bit. Spotted a group of wild boars and a deer.

I recently started trail running and really enjoying running through forests with birdsong all around me and not being focused on how fast I run. Next month I have my first trail running event (12K).

That's a nice upgrade! I don't have a squirrel baffle, but I don't have to worry about them (unfortunately).

I thought remineralized water wouldn’t make a big difference for my coffee, because we have very good tap water in Utrecht, but I was wrong. I’m using ZeroWater with Lotus Water Drops. #Coffee

Recently got these Glerups slippers and they’re so comfy. I’ve been wearing them all day in the house.
