finally feeling motivated to write fic again and it's football rpf. wrestle fic is arguably sports rpf already depending on your definitions of sports and rpf so I never had far to go but I couldn't have imagined this . . .

since I decided to watch the irish national team world cup campaign I've developed somewhat of a football related hyperfixation. who knows how long this will last but I'm learning new things, always good even if it's just about a sport. maybe I'll even learn how offsides works

it's curious how much I'm drawn to stories about grief for someone who has never experienced much of a loss. I wonder if I would actually be less interested in grief if I had felt it in a more personal way

my mom sent me a package with some stuff I wanted (bottle cleaning brush) and some other random stuff (truly ridiculous amount of dates). Thanks mom. You're right I needed a few pounds of dates

really hate that now I was finally able to sign up for a hike I'm not feeling well again. it's nowhere near as bad as it was before so I'll see how I feel tomorrow
