Madison was sent to fix a clogged pipe over in a pool, but when do you know, you not only need actual equipment to handle something underwater like this (at least a rebreather) or like... something that gets the grate off. She didn't bring any of that and tried to brute force it, but now it seems like the water is forcing its way into her lungs instead. Whoopsies.

Marina was out free diving like in any other day, but this time she managed to get her foot stuck between a few rocks she doesn't usually pass around. She's been there for a while now struggling to get it out, and the airlessness is starting to get to her. Having given up on freeing herself, she's about to start clawing for the surface in a desperate attempt.

When do you know, Katya is, as a matter of fact, an aquaphile. Marina was teasing her under the water, and out of nowhere, seeing Katya like this, she was kind of set aback... but in the heat of the moment, she decided to indulge a bit and push her even further down into the water, into the situation we see now, at the bottom of the pool.

i think the most beautiful thing about water is how even within the absolute agony of drowning, if you are far enough away from the source, the water literally drowns out all that noise. you’d be lucky to even hear some bubbles. i really like that detail, personally. so much struggle, barely heard
