my hypothesis is that people are still waiting for the nightmare to be over, and assume we'll all just collectively wake up from it someday. like if we just wait a few years, Trump will be gone, and everything will be back to normal.

ah! you should probably be able to run qwen3-vl-4b or maybe qwen3-vl-8b without issue, and those models have seriously impressed me, even when it's not using vision.

(well, at least it compiles, but an `Option::expect` raises a panic when you run it. I just took a three-hour nap and am not cognitively up to this right now.))
