Sometimes our anger is unwarranted, I think. We need to give everything a second look before allowing ourselves to get angry. I did a quick news search in Tucson, AZ and this story isn't reported anywhere else, which makes me question it's legitimacy.

PD should not be happening during the school year at all. Pay teachers to do PD during the summer and extend the year by a week in June or August to accommodate it.
