I love this time of year so much! 🧡🍂

A thunderstorm on the 31 October feels like the Halloween equivalent of a white Christmas. ⛈️

The red deer rut is still one of my favourite UK wildlife spectacles! 🦌

I took a trip over to Bushy Park before sunrise to see the male deer in action, and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

So excited to have been given the chance to explore the RRS David Attenborough (which I still call Boaty McBoatface 😅)!

It was great to have a tour of the ship and speak to some of the scientists about their important research.

David Attenborough + Kew Gardens puzzle = Perfect Sunday evening 👌

Spent a windy weekend away at the coast.

Storm Amy didn’t mange to keep me from swimming. 🏊🏻‍♀️

I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Jane Goodall in Cambridge back in 2017.

She had a wonderful sense of humour, and I certainly left that conference feeling a lot more optimistic about the world. 💚

At the age of 91, she was still actively involved in her movement to protect wildlife.

A new marathon personal best!! 🥳

The Richmond RunFest Marathon completed in 3 hours 57 minutes. 💪

Richmond, you were amazing! I’ll certainly be back. (Also probably my favourite medal!) 🏅

Well this came around quickly! 😅

Tomorrow I’ll be taking on the Richmond Marathon. It’s definitely been tough trying to fit in training around a busy few months, including a house move. But I’m ready to get it done. 🏃🏼‍♀️💪

Cornwall will always be one of my favourite places on Earth. 💚

Travelling home last night and took possibly the worst photo of the lunar eclipse. 😂

Still, it was really cool to see! 🌘

Well this certainly raised a few questions from the moving company. 🦖

Not a real fossil, but here is a cool replica of a T. rex tooth that we used for filming a video in the Natural History Museum collections.

More on this coming soon!

Great to have @jackdashby.bsky.social visit us at London’s Natural History Museum to talk about his fascinating new book #NaturesMemory! 📖

I’m only a couple of chapters in and have already learned lots of new stuff about the place I work. Well worth a read! 👏

Chose the worst day to run a half marathon for funsies ☀️🥵

Had a wonderful evening at the preview of the Natural History Museum’s Space exhibit. 🪐

Obviously I had to get a selfie with Rosalind Franklin - the replica Mars rover, sadly not the person.

Love the random stuff that appears in our office.

Such as this 120 year old specimen of live sharksucker. 🦈

Meet Rosalind Franklin - the new Mars rover! 🪐

It’s a life-sized replica, but still really cool! And now on display in the new Space exhibition at @nhm-london.bsky.social.

Feeling pain in all kinds of places after a week bouldering in Fontainebleau! 🧗🏼‍♀️

But it was totally worth it! Already planning next year’s trip. 😁
